Team SpikeKey placed 2nd in the Corona Wide Open Tour 
Virginia Beach, VA (June 13th – 14th, 2009)
The Corona Wide Open Tour kept Virginia residents and tourists engaged during the beach tournament with entertainment such as; serving for diamonds, trivia for the corky minded, and an air guitar contest featuring daring boardwalk contestants. Team SpikeKey added to the excitement after reaching the finals on Sunday afternoon.
Dig the Beach- Siesta Key Beach Tournament
(July 11th -12th, 2009)
The Dig the Beach Series will make its way back to the beautiful beach of Siesta Key. Not only do players have the opportunity to play on one of the greatest beaches in the world, but thanks to Gold Coast Eagle Distributing, ice cold Coronas will be available throughout the day. The Dig the Beach Junior Tournament is on Sunday and the tour is only one stop away from crowning the Dig the Beach Juniors Champions. Look out for great competition amongst the youngsters. Please note that Team SpikeKey will not be competing in the Siesta event as they will be in Missouri competing. If you would like to get your daughter or son involved in youth beach volleyball which is now one of the fastest growing sports, please contact Megan Wallin about upcoming beach clinic and camps.
Panama City Beach EVP Tournament
Labor Day Weekend
Tournament Details: The 2009 EVP® Pro Beach Volleyball Tour is coming Panama City. The top players from across the nation will bump, set, and spike their way through this year’s Labor Day Weekend tournament, and compete for $6,000 in prize money. There is also a junior’s division tournament with Under 21 College, Under 18, Under 16, and Under 14 divisions.
