Lessons will typically be given at Siesta Key Beach. If you have access to an indoor gym we will be more than happy to meet you there!!!
What does a training session include?
- Learning new skills
- Enhancing current skills
- Improving knowledge about the game
- Instruction catered to both indoor and outdoor play
- Conditioning and sport-specific training

- To make the toss easier, make sure your non-serving arm is straight when you toss it up…it’s more precise!!!
- Watch your hand hit the ball
- Keep your serving arm and hand hard like a “paddle”
- Remember “Left Right Left” footwork
- For your arm, remember thumb in ear…elbow…snap!!!
- Use your legs to get under the ball so you don’t have to reach with your arm!
- Keep your hands above your head
- RELAX!
- Keep your feet shoulder width apart
- Remember the triangle that your hands make above your head!
- Stay low!!!
- Remember to think of the HUGE beach ball between you legs and your stomach to keep your arms away from your body
- Don’t bend your elbows!!!
- Keep your arms out straight in front of you…the higher the better!
